This full-time position is based onsite at our Carteret, New Jersey outpatient office. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ conditions and develop individualized treatment plans that identify specific therapeutic goals and recovery targets.
• Utilize various treatment techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve funcional mobility.
• Document all treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress in a clear and organized manner, maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines.
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring that goals remain relevant and achievable.
• Instruct and train patients, caregivers, and families on exercise regimens, proper use of assistive devices, and self-care techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest in physical therapy practices by attending workshops and conferences, and collaborating with other health care providers.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or degenerative diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system. Your efforts will help a diverse patient population regain independence and improve their functional capabilities, including athletes and individuals undergoing rehabilitation after orthopedic procedures.

• A Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues alike.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic documentation systems in a healthcare setting.
• Flexibility and agility to adapt to the dynamic needs of patients and the organization.

• While prior experience is not mandatory, we prefer candidates with two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy modalities, evidence-based practices, and rehabilitation methods will be an advantage.
• Experience in patient training and education to promote therapeutic effectiveness and patient engagement.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, Mega Motion offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
