Position Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, plan and execute a variety of school events for current and potential clients
  • Attend meetings as required to complete planning for each event
  • Monitoring of customer satisfaction before, during and after each event to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Undertake an event manager role on events as required throughout the school year
  • Complete applicable sales/business development reports in order for senior management to monitor achievement of target
  • Monitor and provide feedback as requested on customer, market, and competitor activity
  • Development and implementation of sales/marketing plans and strategies
  • Promoting company Programs and Packages to current and potential accounts.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 10yrs work experience in the Event Industry
  • Minimum 5yrs full-service event planning (Planning, booking, hiring vendors, and more) for a company as large or larger than SOS Entertainment
  • Responsible and accountable by default. Committed, consistent and hard working. High level of reliability and ethics.
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrated ability to multitask, effectively prioritize and learn new systems quickly.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills. Helpful, proactive and communicative spirit with fellow teammates.
  • Uplifting, engaging, likeable personality. Strong interpersonal skills. Approaches work with enthusiasm and optimism.
  • Strong Customer Service experience
  • Not afraid to labor diligently, meet deadlines, etc.
  • Unrestricted driver's license and good driving record

Desirable

  • Student Government/ASB, Student Leadership experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields

Compensation Package

  • $95-115k Starting Base Salary
  • Commission + Bonuses (ranging from $10-40k/yr )
