MedStar Health is looking for a Team Leader - Cath Lab to join our team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital!
As a Team Leader - Cath Lab, you will help supervise and direct the daily activities for the Imaging Department. Performs diagnostic procedures within assigned/credentialed modality.

Primary Duties:
  • Acquires ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation. Coordinates the daily activities of staff consistent with workload requirements and available personnel.

  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains diagnostic and other equipment in efficient operating order; performs regularly scheduled quality control.

  • Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures.

  • Prepares documentation as required by the profession and the department. Completes necessary clerical and computer tasks as required. Requests and orders supply as necessary to always keep materials on hand.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2 years' technologist experience within assigned/credentialed modality.

  • 2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology.

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)

  • Licensed in the State of Maryland as required for modality.

USD $42.82 - USD $71.16 /Hr.
