Must-Have:
- Meditech experience
- IV starts
- Pediatric experience
Description:
We are seeking an experienced RN for the Pre Op specialty.
Familiarity with Meditech is essential for this role.
Candidates with day surgery and Pre Op experience will be prioritized.
The shift schedule is 4x10, from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Both adult and pediatric experience is ideal, with a preference for adult experience.
The unit has 22 beds and a staff of 41, including charge RNs, Pre Op RNs, and Post Op RNs.
Patient ratios for Pre Op and PAT are 1:1, and Post Op is 3:1.
Typical procedures performed include general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedic scopes.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, friendly, and a team player.
Self-scheduling is available, but candidates must work 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays each schedule period.
Candidates must be available to work during inclement weather.
There are no weekend or on-call requirements for this position.
