You could be the perfect candidate to be an Employment Support Professional in our Day Services Program with Opportunity Services in Rochester, MN! This is a community-based role where you will accompany one of our client work crews to a local business, providing job coaching and other employment supports.

OS team members spend their days coaching groups of individuals at their workplace, implementing community-based recreational activities/outings, and providing supports to meet our consumers' physical, emotional, and interpersonal needs. Our culture at OS is defined by our teamwork of helping, listening to and supporting one throughout the organization. We are looking for new team members who want to Make a Difference and care about the people they serve and work with!

No Nights or Weekends!

Hours and Benefits of the DSP:

  • The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00-$21.00/hour. Education and experience are considered when extending offers.
  • Monday - Friday: Approx. 7:00 am to 3:30 pm - No Nights or Weekends required!

Responsibilities of the DSP:

  • Provide supervision to clients at work, meal times and other various activities in the community.
  • Provide quality assistance with all personal cares.
  • Facilitate interactions between work teams with their work community and the greater population.
  • Assists in interaction through positive reinforcement, positive programming, engagement, and the use of alternative communication strategies.
  • Provide and assist clients with medication.
  • Assist in the transportation of clients using company vehicles.
  • Provide and assist with hooking up wheelchairs and using lift vehicles.
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
