Unit Manager-Nursing Home

Located in Auburn, NY

Salary: $96K - $100K Annually; Based on experience

Qualifications of the Unit Manager-Nursing Home:

  •         Must have New York RN license
  •          Minimum of 1 yr of LTC RN or LPN Supervision experience
  •          Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •          Must be willing to learn and be part of a strong team
 

Responsibilities of the Unit Manger-Nursing Home:

  • Orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities and provide leadership in clinical problem solving.
  • Nurse will evaluate and schedule in-services/training as needed.
  • Ensure department activities and records are in adherence to AAAHC and various licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide opportunities for professional development and training to improve nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Address staffing concerns, handle disciplinary actions, and mediate conflicts.
