Responsibilities:

  • Oversee unit operations and ensure efficiency
  • Support staff and coordinate appointments and transportation
  • Support daily operations and ensure efficient communication and care coordination for our residents
  • Patient Record Management
  • Coordinate appointments and transportation for residents to appointments and activities.
  • Accompany residents as needed
  • Transcribe nurses’ orders per policy
  • Perform general clerical duties such as faxing, copying, and answering phones
  • Greet visitors and providers, assisting as needed
  • Communicate with healthcare team members, patients, and visitors via phone and intercom
  • Update and manage patient profiles, ensuring information is current upon admission, discharge, or transfer
  • Prepare and maintain the unit’s medical information system, including uploading forms and resident records to the electronic system
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
