Medical Technologist | Microbiologist
MLee Healthcare is seeking a qualified Medical Technologist Microbiologist to join a dynamic team at an established hospital in Columbus, GA metroplex. Performing test and analyze microscopic bacteria, fungi and viruses, working for hospitals and medical labs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine and specialized microbiological procedures, including virological, mycological, bacteriological, and parasitological assays for use in diagnosing and treating disease
  • Operate, clean, and maintains laboratory equipment used in microbiological analysis and procedures
  • Perform a variety of microbiological procedures in order to cultivate, isolate and identify microoragnisms in skin scrapings, exudates, body fluids and surgical specimens.
Requirements:
  • National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)
  • Bachelors or Associate Degree
  • ASCP or AMT
  • BLS
