• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to effectively identify the mental health needs of students and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their educational goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and play therapy to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers and administrators, as well as mental health professionals, to ensure a coordinated approach to each student's care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and practical support for students experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives within school settings to promote mental health literacy among students, parents, and faculty members.
• Document client interactions and treatment plans accurately and promptly, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

This role will primarily focus on students from various backgrounds, including those facing socio-economic challenges, learning disabilities, and families in crisis. Your expertise will be vital in addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders, ultimately contributing to their academic success and emotional resilience.

• Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Completed a master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with various stakeholders in an educational environment.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for accurate documentation and timely case management.

• Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, particularly those experiencing trauma or significant emotional challenges.
• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems.
