Job Description
We are looking for Adjunct Faculty to join our team.
Living OUTSIDE the state of CA is a requirement.
The online Adjunct PRQ Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, engaging students in a virtual learning environment, and supporting student success through timely feedback and communication.
  • Facilitate online courses in accordance with established curriculum and policies
  • Maintain an active online presence by participating in discussion boards, answering student questions, and holding virtual office hours
  • Monitor student progress and proactively reach out to those needing additional support daily.
  • Review and grade required assignments within 24-48 hours of submission
  • Submit all final grades within 24 hours of course completion
  • Submit required program reports and forms to Director of the program in a timely manner
  • Maintains student records of attendance and grades
  • Hold regular office hours three times per week, consisting of 30-minute morning and evening sessions on an alternating schedule (e.g., Monday at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.)
  • Offer tutoring sessions as requested by students
  • Respond to emails and messages within 24 hours, Monday through Friday
  • Record all worked hours daily in (ADP) using the clock in/out feature
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding business hours, meal breaks, and rest periods as outlined in the Unitek Employee Handbook
  • Collaborate with academic leadership and colleagues to continuously improve course delivery and student outcomes
  • Participate in faculty development, training sessions, and professional growth activities
  • On camera during all classes, meetings, and office hours
  • Use reliable computer, webcam, microphone, and internet connection
  • Conduct meetings and office hours from a stable, distraction-free space
  • Complete additional duties such as special projects assigned by program leadership or administration
  • Other tasks as assigned

Hours will be up to 20 hours per week.
Availability should be between 8am to 8pm PST.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field, required
  • Familiar with medical terminology and basic dosage calculations
  • Maintain professional posture and appearance
  • Experience which demonstrates: Ability to mentor students in classroom; ability to work independently without close supervision; broad knowledge of nursing sciences; proficient, strong communications skills verbal and written
  • Ability to sit at a desk or table with ergonomic chair and monitor setup
