Their role involves educating clients about new products, negotiating contracts, and providing after-sales support. They often travel within a designated territory, stay updated on industry trends, and build strong relationships with medical professionals to ensure their products are preferred and trusted. Effective communication skills, product knowledge, and understanding of healthcare regulations are essential for success in this field.

Job description

Account Executive / Sales Representative

Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Full-Time

About Primary Vascular Care

Primary Vascular Care is a specialized vascular group dedicated exclusively to serving the long-term care community. We bring a clinic-like experience directly into skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, providing comprehensive vascular care at the patient's bedside.

By delivering personalized, high-quality care in a familiar environment, we reduce the need for unnecessary transportation while ensuring patients receive timely evaluations, treatments, and advanced vascular procedures. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes through exceptional clinical care and strong partnerships with the facilities we serve.

Position Summary

Primary Vascular Care is seeking an experienced, driven, and relationship-focused Account Executive / Sales Representative to support the continued growth of our services throughout the Atlanta market.

This is a dual-role position that combines business development with account management and operational coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new facility partnerships while ensuring existing accounts receive exceptional support and operational oversight.

Success in this role requires someone who is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable building relationships with nursing home administrators, Directors of Nursing, Social Workers, Case Managers, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate understands that growing an account goes beyond making the sale—it also means helping ensure our services are implemented successfully and that ongoing operations run smoothly between our clinical team and partner facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new long-term care facility partnerships within the assigned territory.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility administrators, Directors of Nursing, Social Workers, Case Managers, and other key decision-makers.

  • Present Primary Vascular Care's services and educate facilities on the benefits of bedside vascular care.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and successful onboarding.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with internal clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless scheduling, communication, and service delivery.

  • Monitor account performance, proactively resolve issues, and identify opportunities to strengthen facility relationships.

  • Assist with operational initiatives to support efficient clinic workflows and successful implementation of services.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, account interactions, and business development efforts.

  • Represent Primary Vascular Care professionally at networking events, facility meetings, and industry functions.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, healthcare operations, or a related client-facing role.

  • Experience working with healthcare providers, long-term care facilities, home health, hospice, physician groups, or medical sales is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business while maintaining long-term client relationships.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory are required.

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus incentives.

  • 401(k) retirement plan.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

  • Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training.

  • Supportive, collaborative, and mission-driven team environment.

  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving access to specialized vascular care for patients in long-term care facilities.

If you are passionate about building relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence while making a difference in healthcare, we encourage you to apply and join the Primary Vascular Care team.
