Job description

Nevada Retina Associates is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Front Desk Receptionist to join our Reno office. Ophthalmic office experience (2+ years) is preferred. We are looking for a dependable, punctual, bilingual individual who is a strong multitasker and possesses excellent computer, customer service, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily front desk operations, including patient check-in and check-out
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
  • Answer incoming calls, route calls appropriately, and assist with triage calls for new and existing patients
  • Collect patient copays and outstanding balances
  • Accurately input patient information, including scheduling, insurance, and demographic data, into the Practice Management system
  • Provide a welcoming and professional first and last impression for our patients

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • 2+ years of ophthalmic office experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Proficient with computers and data entry systems
  • Dependable, responsible, and flexible with work hours
