Medical Receptionist - Pediatric Practice
Locations: Chantilly & Reston, VA
Position: Full-Time Medical Receptionist (Float between both offices as needed)
Schedule: Four 9.5-hour weekdays (6:45 AM - 5:00 PM) plus rotating half-day Saturdays (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Requirements
What You'll Do
As one of the first people our families meet, you'll help create a positive experience for every patient visit.
Your day will include:
  • Greeting patients and families with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Checking patients in and out while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Answering a high volume of incoming phone calls with confidence and excellent customer service
  • Scheduling appointments using provider scheduling guidelines to maximize patient access
  • Verifying insurance, updating patient demographics, and collecting copayments and balances
  • Scanning and organizing medical records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Supporting providers by ensuring patient information is complete before appointments
  • Working closely with teammates to keep the office running smoothly during busy clinic days
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
  • At least one year of medical receptionist experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Practice Management software strongly preferred
