Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of LANL's ERP Modernization effort, specifically within the supply chain and manufacturing workstream, in a complex, matrixed program environment.
  • This roleย operatesย under the guidance of the Program Manager and serves as the primary coordination point between supply chain, manufacturing, functional teams, program leadership, and vendors to ensure project outcomes are achieved within scope, schedule, and budgets.
  • ย Work is organized into control accounts and corresponding work packages that define tasks necessary to meet programmatic objectives.ย 
  • This is a hands-on delivery role suited for a motivated project management professional who brings strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively across business and IT teams.
  • Manage and ensure theย timelyย completion of multi-discipline supply chain and manufacturing projects of low to moderate complexity and scope.
  • Provide leadership throughout the full project lifecycle usingย appropriate projectย management methodologies and tools.
  • Oversee project teams in planning, tracking, and execution;ย facilitateย transfer of operations and maintenance activities at project completion.
  • Develop andย maintainย project charters, project management plans (PMPs), schedules, and other technical documentation to a professional standard
  • Coordinate activities of supply chain, manufacturing, and technical personnel and collaborate with relevant staff on delivery of specific products and projects.
  • Identify, document, and manage project-level risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate cross-workstream or program-level impacts as needed.
  • Partner with customers to define expectations, solve problems, and establish mutual responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with business owners, functional SMEs, and technical teams to support readiness and adoption.
  • Translate project management concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences both within and outside of supply chain/manufacturing
Education and Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related fieldย  (Required)
  • Certification: PMP, Scrum Master Certification (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile credential (Required)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects of low-to-moderate complexity through the full project lifecycle initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout (required)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability toย maintainย project plans, track milestones, manage scope, and keep teams aligned with program controls and governance expectations (required)
  • Clear, professional communication skills -able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and engage effectively with functional leads, business owners, and program leadership (required)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & LOCATION DETAILS:
