About Us:
At Three Rivers Dermatology, we provide exceptional and friendly healthcare services to our community. We are looking for an energetic and professional receptionist to join our team. 
Position Summary:
As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and managing patient interactions. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Verify patient insurance information and handle/refer billing inquiries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning documents and responding to emails. 
  • Use the electronic medical record to facilitate communication between patients and medical staff.  
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role in a medical setting preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
