Job description

The Patient Office Associate provides front and back office secretarial, clerical and billing support functions for the assigned Department/Unit and the TBHC Physician Pavilion as needed
* High School Graduate or GED
* Associate Degree --HIGHLY PREFERRED
* Three (3) years in a medical office setting
* Excellent organizational and follow up skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with health and business professionals.
* The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and adhere to specific time frames.
* Strong written and oral communication skills
