Care Michigan, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to support daily administrative and clerical operations. This part-time role is ideal for an organized professional who is comfortable working in a medical office environment and handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

The Medical Office Assistant plays a key role in keeping office operations running smoothly by managing documents, supporting communication, and assisting with general administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • File, organize, and maintain paper and electronic medical records
  • Scan documents into electronic systems accurately and timely
  • Perform routine computer-based work, including data entry and document management
  • Draft and prepare professional correspondence, letters, and internal communications
  • Organize files, reports, and case-related documentation
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Make outbound phone calls to providers, clients, and related parties as directed
  • Assist with general office organization and administrative support tasks
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Support staff with clerical duties as needed to maintain efficient workflow
