Birchmount Animal Hospital, located in Scarborough, Ontario, is currently welcoming a Veterinarian to join our associate team! As a successful candidate for this role, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team to provide the best care possible.

Responsibilities
  • 2 to 3 years post-grad experience; soft tissue surgical procedures, end of life procedures, dental procedures, grade 1 and 2 and other preventative care or treatment plans

  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

  • Guiding pet owners on care for their fur babies

  • Coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

  • Coaching and mentoring junior veterinary technicians and assistants

Qualifications
  • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada; fully licensed from an accredited school, or foreign trained with a certificate of qualification completed.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and the community

  • The ability to manage multiple appointments

  • Accurate medical record keeping

  • Ability to adapt to each appointment and the services required for that patient
