Job description

An Injector (Nurse Practitioner) at Weiler Plastic Surgery provides services to patients including consultation and assessment, diagnosis and treatment, design of treatment programs, implementation and supervision of the treatment program, and educational programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations to assess client needs, identify risks, and develop personalized treatment plans for injectables.
  • Perform cosmetic injections (neurotoxin treatments & dermal filler) and other non-surgical aesthetic procedures according to established protocols and safety standards
  • Implementation of surgical wound closure, and any other medical/laser procedure considered routine and consistent within scope of practice in a medical aesthetic and plastic surgery practice.
  • Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of plastic surgery and aesthetic patients for all services offered by Weiler Plastic Surgery. Services include neurotoxin injections, dermal filler injections, chemical peels, and any other medical/laser procedures considered routine and consistent within scope of practice in a plastic surgery and medical aesthetic practice.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records, including patient history, treatment plans, and progress photos
  • Assessment of medical history, pre and post care instructions, consent forms, and prescriptions with clients during the visit.
  • Adhere to all governing standards, organizational policies, and safety protocols to ensure optimal results.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
  • Current or projected certification and licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Master of Science in Nursing from accredited college or university (Or Projected to receive degree)
  • Board Certifications from either AANP or ANCC (Or Projected to receive certification)
Preferred Education or Experience
  • Prior related experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 15lbs. Role will be subject to an office clinical environment which is subject to indoor conditions. Physical demands include but are not limited to standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity, stooping, kneeling, crouching, vision acuity, talking and hearing.
