Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Laser Hair Removal & Electrolysis Technician to provide professional hair removal services to our clients while delivering exceptional customer care. This role requires performing laser and electrolysis treatments according to established protocols and individual treatment plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Client Treatment & Care

  • Perform laser hair removal and electrolysis treatments following established operating procedures and individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct in-person consultations and educate clients on laser hair removal and electrolysis services
  • Ensure client appointment durations are adhered to in a timely manner
  • Prepare dry ice packs using paper towels and sandwich bags to help with client skin irritation after treatments

Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Accurately document all services, treatments, and medical information in MyTime and paper charting systems after each client appointment
  • Ensure clients have completed evaluation forms and photos
  • Update treatment plans based on individual client conditions
  • Audit client records and files to ensure all documents are present, accurate, and completed

Facility & Equipment Management

  • Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment
  • Clean treatment rooms and sterilize equipment between client appointments
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and products on a weekly basis
  • Ensure all utilized equipment and tools are available and operational on a daily basis

Administrative Support

  • Process payments for services using POS systems, cash/check collection, or online payments
  • Accurately handle cash and check payments and generate client receipts as needed
  • Monitor personal and clinic schedules and apply updates in MyTime regarding appointments, breaks, and time-off dates
  • Support Customer Relations Associates in confirming client appointments prior to treatments as needed during in-office downtime

Team Development

  • Be shadowed by and assist in training current and future technicians
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

Experience

  • Prior experience preferred, but not required
  • We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate
