Job description

Sigma Defense is seeking a former Surface Warfare Officer for a position on our Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) Team in San Diego, CA as a Senior Surface Warfare/IAMD Analyst.
We need the rare skill sets you have developed throughout your Naval Career to support the surface, air, and mine warfare mission areas, enhancing warfighting readiness, and increasing the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force. You will support the performance analysis of surface ship tactical readiness and operational capability. In this position you will make direct contributions to the enhancement of warfare training.

Requirements
  • Surface Warfare Officer qualified (minimum of 12 years of experience).
  • A Warfare Tactics Officer (WTI), in the AMW or ASW/SUW domains, qualified officer is preferred, though not required.
  • Experience in either the acquisition community or with the Government's POM process is preferred.
  • Exposure to or experience with the Navy's FLEX program is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • A clearance will not be sponsored.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually.
