Responsibilities:

Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipment of urine specimens to ensure timely and accurate laboratory analysis

Collect urine samples from patients, including observed and supervised specimen collections

Verify patient identity following departmental protocols before specimen collection

Properly label, document, and prepare specimens for secure shipment

Interact with patients, physicians, and clinic staff with professionalism, compassion, and excellent customer service

Follow all universal precautions, OSHA standards, and HIPAA guidelines when handling specimens and patient information

Communicate effectively with team supervisors about low shift volume, unusual issues, or procedural deviations

Maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times

Manage office supplies and processing tasks as needed

Required Skills:

Proven experience delivering excellent customer service, especially in healthcare or clinical settings

Dependable with a strong work ethic and punctuality

Ability to pass background checks and adhere to confidentiality standards

This is a temporary, ongoing assignment with competitive hourly pay ranging from $18-19/hour
