Overview:
Prophecy, Prosek's world-class branding and advertising business, is seeking a Copywriter to join our growing team in New York. In this role, the Copywriter will help bring brands to life through sharp, thoughtful, and flexible writing across brand messaging, creative campaigns, websites, marketing materials, and other high-impact deliverables.
We're looking for a copywriter who thrives in collaborative environments, understands the power of a simple, strong idea, and can seamlessly flex between B2B and B2C styles. From campaigns and websites to brand messaging and marketing materials, this writer should be adaptable across a wide range of tones, audiences, and formats.

What you'll be doing:
  • Writing clear, compelling, and strategically grounded copy across brand, advertising, marketing, and digital deliverables
  • Developing campaign concepts, headlines, taglines, body copy, scripts, social copy, website copy, messaging, and other creative materials
  • Adapting tone and style across a range of client brands, industries, audiences, and channels
  • Partnering with creative directors, designers, strategists, account teams, and project managers to develop strong creative ideas and polished executions
  • Translating brand strategy, positioning, and messaging into distinctive and effective creative copy
  • Supporting the development of messaging playbooks, website content, brand narratives, campaign platforms, and marketing collateral
  • Bringing both creative thinking and writing craft to client work, from early concepting through final delivery
  • Collaborating with internal teams to understand client objectives, audience needs, brand voice, and project requirements
  • Participating in brainstorms and contributing ideas that help shape creative direction and campaign concepts
  • Revising and refining copy based on internal and client feedback while maintaining clarity, quality, and creative integrity
  • Managing multiple writing assignments across different brands and projects in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Maintaining high standards for grammar, accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Staying informed about client industries, cultural trends, creative work, and the broader branding and advertising landscape
  • Supporting new business efforts, pitch materials, presentations, and other agency initiatives as needed

What makes you qualified:
  • 5-7 years of relevant copywriting experience, ideally within a creative, branding, advertising, or integrated agency environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, or related field preferred
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, sharp headlines, campaign writing, brand voice, messaging, and longform storytelling
  • Ability to write across a range of formats, including campaign concepts, websites, scripts, social content, brand narratives, and marketing materials
  • Excellent command of tone, voice, structure, grammar, and storytelling
  • Ability to shift between different brand personalities, industries, audiences, and levels of complexity
  • Experience developing copy for websites, messaging systems, creative campaigns, and brand platforms
  • Strong creative instincts with the ability to make complex ideas feel clear, human, and compelling
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment with multiple deadlines and stakeholders

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000-$115,000. An employee's salary is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is one component of Prosek's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, new business commission, paid time off, and other benefits.
