Copywriter - Performance Creative
We are searching for a Copywriter, Performance Creative to join our Performance Creative team, working on one of our latest AOR wins, an insurance client. Reporting to the Group Creative Director, Performance Creative, you will create performance-driven work that supports digital and social direct response channels while satisfying the branding requirements of our clients. You will be partnered with an Art Director.
  • You will create conceptual yet performance-driven work, such as paid social, display, email campaigns, OLV, and landing pages while satisfying the branding requirements of our clients.
  • You will develop on-brand creative concepts and copy rooted in strategies that serve as a framework for bringing art and messaging to life for specific audiences, across channels.
  • You will partner with our teams to create concepts that enhance response strategies and achieve client goals.
  • You will apply audience insights, strategic frameworks, and direct response best practices to your work.
  • You understand unique audiences and create content that is relevant to each.
  • You will stay current with the latest trends and technologies (e.g., DCO, Content Velocity, Dynamic Video, Modular Content Systems).
  • You will present work both internally and to our clients while building client relationships.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of professional copywriting experience in-house or at an agency in creative advertising and performance creative
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required
  • Experience working with the nuances and requirements of writing for Online Display, Email, Social and Digital Experiences including video scripts.
  • Working knowledge of web usability/accessibility, advertising technologies, and development methods
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Word and Google Docs and have a basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides and PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand an assignment from a Creative Brief and turn thoughtful copy into experiences that fulfil the client's goals.
  • Brand development experience

The annual salary range for this position is $62,000 - $72,250. Placement within the salary
range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and
other factors permitted by law.
