CNC Level 4 Machinists are experienced running a variety of machines and have excellent operational skills. Working independently while setting up and running new and proven jobs, they are technical leaders who instruct others while giving technical direction and solving technical problems.

This job focuses on the importance for running quality parts while; setting up machines, loading and unloading materials, running code, managing tool life, inspecting parts, and completing secondary operations (e.g., deburr, edge breaks, adding holes).

Additionally, machinists will help train employees when asked, create new or updated standard work plans and self-inspection sheets. You must instruct others to improve productivity and run machine qualification checks, read G-Code, qualify fixtures, and test new cutters with the assistance of the ME department.
