About the Role

Our busy, patient-focused cosmetic dental practice in the West Houston, TX area is seeking an experienced Dental Biller to oversee the day-to-day operations of our billing department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and well-versed in dental insurance claims, revenue cycle management, and patient communication. This role is critical to ensuring accurate billing, strong collections, and seamless operations across the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the billing department, including hiring, training, and supervising billing staff.

  • Manage the submission and follow-up of insurance claims, resolving denials, and ensuring timely payment.

  • Monitor accounts receivable and implement strategies to optimize collections and revenue cycle performance.

  • Ensure compliance with all billing regulations, insurance guidelines, and coding practices.

  • Manage billing software and maintain integration with practice management systems.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and dental team members to resolve billing questions.

  • Develop and implement billing protocols and processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
