Medical Assistant - Springfield, VA

At our Springfield location, we are seeking a Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about creating an outstanding patient experience.

What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting physicians, technologists, and patients throughout their imaging experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting physicians and technologists during imaging procedures
  • Preparing patients before and after appointments with clear and compassionate communication
  • Initiating IVs as needed
  • Administering oral medications under Radiologist supervision
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Supporting emergency preparedness by maintaining emergency carts and medications
  • Ensuring supplies are stocked and instruments are properly sterilized
  • Maintaining compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable safety regulations
