Description:

Newbridge Spine & Pain Center seeks a Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Surgical Tech who can work at the Frederick, MD office.


Duties include:

  • Escorting patients to rooms, checking vitals, and updating medical history in the EMR system.
  • Assisting providers in the procedure room from proper sterile setup to operating a C-ARM.
  • Collecting urine, completing records.
Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical office/surgery center experience.
  • MUST HAVE EMR EXPERIENCE (ATHENA Preferred).
  • The candidate must have excellent patient communication skills
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is not required but strongly preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center protocol knowledge is preferred, but not required.
  • Exposure to Procedure Room experience highly preferred.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude, willingness to take initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
