Job description

Mercy Clinic General and Specialty Surgery in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a Colorectal Surgeon to join their established and busy 100% colorectal surgery practice. This role offers the opportunity to perform a full spectrum of cases utilizing state-of-the-art technology, including dV5 and Xi robots, within an 886-bed tertiary hospital. The incoming surgeon will serve an extensive patient population and benefit from a strong referral network, with high income potential based on productivity.

Practice Info

  • Established and busy 100% colorectal surgery practice
  • Covers an extensive patient population of over 1.5M lives
  • Local network of ~300 employed primary care physicians and 7 GIs for referrals
  • Practices at Mercy Hospital Springfield, an 886-bed hospital and a tertiary center for Southern Missouri and parts of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas
  • State-of-the-art equipment and facilities including large ORs, dV5 and Xi robots, and 3T MRI
  • 24 main hospital ORs plus an additional 8 in the ASC

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full spectrum of colorectal surgery cases
  • Perform colorectal, endoscopy, B&B general surgery, advanced laparoscopic, robotic, bariatrics, breast, and more
  • Provide patient care with a focus on quality, excellent outcomes and personalized patient experience

Compensation

  • $540,000 starting salary with opportunity for significantly higher income based on productivity
  • $50,000 signing bonus plus paid relocation
