Location: Fort Wayne, IN Job Type: Full-time Multiple openings per shift: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd

This will be a full-time, direct placement position. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring a smooth patient experience and efficient clinical operations. You will work directly with patients and medical staff to perform essential administrative and clinical duties, contributing to a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vitals and obtaining patient medical histories.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection.
  • Maintain clean and organized examination rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and restocking supplies.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate patient flow, and handle general office tasks.
  • Educate patients on treatments, medications, and post-visit care.
  • Administer injections, draw blood, and conduct other clinical tasks as authorized.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements
