Job description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in Upland, CA.

This is an on-site, full-time position.


Pay: $22.00 โ€“ $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday (8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM)
Location: Upland, CA 91786

Primary Responsibilities:

โ€ข Perform back-office medical assistant duties in a fast-paced clinic setting
โ€ข Room patients, obtain vital signs, and complete patient intake
โ€ข Assist providers with exams, procedures, and direct patient care
โ€ข Perform venipuncture, injections, and other clinical tasks within scope
โ€ข Accurately document patient information in EMR (preferably EPIC)
โ€ข Maintain and restock exam rooms and clinical supplies
โ€ข Ensure cleanliness and readiness of patient care areas
โ€ข Coordinate patient flow and support overall clinic efficiency
โ€ข Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff
โ€ข Perform general administrative support using Word and Excel as needed

Qualifications:

โ€ข Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
โ€ข Previous clinical/back-office experience required
โ€ข EMR experience required (EPIC preferred)
โ€ข Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
