• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to obtain a detailed understanding of their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Assist physical therapists in implementing effective therapeutic interventions such as exercises, stretching techniques, and manual therapy to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, home exercise programs, and strategies to manage pain during the recovery journey.
• Document patient progress meticulously, making necessary modifications to care plans based on observed outcomes and in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Foster collaboration with healthcare professionals and actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient status and refine approaches to care.

You will primarily work with patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, such as sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals of various ages and backgrounds. This role not only allows you to assist patients physically but also to be an essential part of their emotional and motivational support system during recovery.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a physical therapy setting is required.
• Must have the ability to manage a caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, ensuring high-quality individualized care.

While 2 years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who possess additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or experience within hospital settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is also beneficial for effective documentation and care coordination.
