Work Environment

The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that our team values. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to gather essential data and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans that align with therapy goals.
• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, and hands-on therapeutic techniques aimed at improving patient mobility and function.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and develop home exercise programs to empower them to continue their recovery outside the clinic.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient progress, modifying care plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population dealing with orthopedic conditions and those in need of physical rehabilitation. You will interact with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role not only involves executing therapy techniques but also motivating and guiding patients through their challenges, which is vital for fostering trust and confidence in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License is required.
• PTA Degree or an associate degree specific to PTA.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with advanced techniques such as aquatic therapy, sports rehabilitation, or experience with post-operative care will be viewed favorably. We seek individuals who are proactive in learning and implementing best practices in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
