We are a busy Dermatology practice in Colchester, Vermont seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team in our Rutland, VT location.
The ideal candidate would have at least one year experience in a medical office with a mixture of clinical knowledge and administrative knowledge.
Job Description
  • Greeting patients for check -in, check-out and answering phones.
  • Posting payments.
  • Demographic and insurance entry/edit.
  • Appointment scheduling.
  • Medical records, processing referrals and any other duties assigned.
  • Maintaining a clean, neat and hygienic work area.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in chart according to office protocols.
  • Accurate documentation and attention to detail

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
  • Must be friendly, professional and well organized with attention to detail.
  • Customer service 1 year (preferred)
  • EHR experience 1 year (preferred)

Job Type:
  • Full-time: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:30am-4:30pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30am-3:30pm

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
