Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Medical Assistant for an outpatient specialty practice in Midtown Atlanta. This opportunity is ideal for someone who understands GI workflows, communicates with sensitivity, and helps patients feel comfortable throughout their care.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and room patients for gastroenterology visits.
  • Record vital signs, symptoms, medications, and medical histories.
  • Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures.
  • Review provider-approved preparation instructions for colonoscopies, endoscopies, and other GI procedures.
  • Coordinate laboratory testing, imaging, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
  • Collect specimens and perform approved point-of-care testing.
  • Support prescription refills and prior authorizations as directed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Clean, stock, and prepare examination and procedure rooms.
