Job description

Van Driver of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

We are looking for professional, reliable and courteous Van Drivers of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation to provide safe (NEMT) passenger/patient transportation to/from various locations. Drivers will be utilizing a company vehicle in DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area to transport passenger/patients to medical appointments, work facilities, outings and or other personal appointments. Drivers must be physically able to push a wheelchair, help/assist passenger/patients and strap down securements to the floor of the vehicle.

**Full-Time/Part Time Positions**

Responsibilities

ยท Provide friendly, safe, compassionate, effective, efficient and on-time service to our passengers /patients while providing a high level of customer service

ยท Keep company vehicle clean, orderly, and in proper working conditions

ยท Maintain timely communication with company staff and passenger/patients

ยท Assist passengers/patients in and out of vehicle before/after transporting patients to and from appointments

ยท Understand and follow applicable Federal and Virginia, Maryland, DC laws and

regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles; comply with policies to

ensure passenger/patient safety and protect consumer/patient privacy and security.

ยท Maintain a professional appearance while transporting passengers/patients

ยท Treat all stakeholders, passengers/patients with courtesy, dignity and respect
