Job Opportunity: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver

Locations: Tsaile, AZ or Rough Rock, AZ

Deal Transportation is currently seeking reliable, compassionate, and safety-focused drivers to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. This role is essential in helping patients safely travel to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a non-emergency medical transportation vehicle

  • Transport clients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and approved destinations

  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including securing wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids

  • Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate customer service at all times

  • Follow assigned schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch

  • Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required documentation

  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns

  • Comply with all Arizona traffic laws and company safety policies

Job Requirements

  • Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) — 39-month driving history required

  • Prior transportation or NEMT experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of Arizona roadways and traffic regulations
