Role Title: Medical Subject Matter Expert (AI Training & Documentation)
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
We are seeking experienced medical professionals to contribute their expertise to the development of next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will provide high-quality, original medical documentation and domain knowledge to improve AI model understanding and performance. No prior AI experience is required-your clinical and medical expertise is the key qualification.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide original, self-authored medical documents (PDF or Word) for AI training purposes, including clinical reports, case studies, research manuscripts, technical documentation, and educational materials.
  • Ensure submitted documents demonstrate depth, technical accuracy, and real-world medical expertise.
  • Contribute multimodal content containing text, tables, charts, diagrams, figures, and other visual elements where applicable.
  • Carefully de-identify all confidential or patient-specific information while maintaining the integrity and educational value of the documentation.
  • Curate a diverse collection of documents, ideally ranging from 10-100 pages, to support various AI training scenarios.
  • Provide additional context or clarifications regarding submitted materials when required.
  • Collaborate remotely with project teams to support the continuous improvement of AI systems through high-quality medical content.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced degree or professional qualification in Medicine, Healthcare, Clinical Research, or a related discipline (MD, DO, PhD, MBBS, RN, or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience authoring clinical documentation, research papers, medical reports, case studies, or technical healthcare content.
  • Strong understanding of medical documentation standards, patient confidentiality, and data de-identification practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex medical concepts clearly and accurately.
  • Experience creating documentation that includes structured data, tables, charts, figures, or other visual content.
  • Ability to provide original, professionally created medical documents from your own portfolio for AI training purposes.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience as a practicing physician, healthcare professional, clinical researcher, academic, or medical documentation specialist.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and evidence-based healthcare practices.
  • Familiarity with research publications, clinical guidelines, or educational content development.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, project-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality documentation.
