About the Role:

The Medical Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of healthcare facilities by managing administrative tasks that support medical staff and patient care. This position is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, maintaining accurate medical records, and facilitating communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. The role demands meticulous attention to detail to handle medical billing, claims processing, and patient billing accurately, which directly impacts the financial health of the practice. By utilizing electronic medical records systems and managing multi-line phone systems, the assistant ensures that patient information is accessible and that inquiries are handled promptly and professionally. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a medical secretary or administrative assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner.

Responsibilities:
