About Us

The Pavilion at Queens Rehabilitation & Nursing is committed to enhancing residents’ quality of life and independence through innovative rehabilitation services and exceptional, person-centered care. We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented professional to join our interdisciplinary team at our skilled nursing facility in Flushing, Queens.

Experience Levels Welcome

  • Medicaid Assistant (Entry-Level): Ideal for recent graduates or candidates looking to start a career in healthcare administration. Training and mentorship will be provided to the right candidate.

  • Medicaid Coordinator (Experienced): Candidates with 1–2+ years of Medicaid experience, particularly in long-term care or healthcare settings, are encouraged to apply. Additional responsibilities and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with residents and their families to gather information required for Medicaid eligibility and benefits.

  • Review admission and financial documentation for residents requiring Medicaid assistance.

  • Collect, organize, and submit all necessary documentation for Medicaid applications.

  • Monitor application status and follow up to help ensure timely approvals.

  • Complete and maintain required forms and records in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to residents, families, and staff.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.

  • Experience in long-term care, healthcare administration, insurance, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Customer service experience preferred.

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
