Role Summary

The Media Manager is a subject matter expert in brand media. As an individual contributor, this role helps define our overall media strategy and is responsible for executing, optimizing, and reporting on our media plans. The Media Manager leads the daily management of our media agency partners, ensuring our brand marketing efforts are meeting our brand and business goals, and partner closely with our performance marketing team to deliver full funnel results.

Key Duties
  • Act as a subject matter expert in brand media planning and analysis across channels with a focus on linear TV, digital video, OOH, social, etc.
  • With minimal direction from leadership, exercise considerable judgement to manage media campaign analysis and reporting with agency partners and performance marketing teams on a monthly and quarterly basis, to deliver results and actionable insights across stakeholder groups.
  • Manage execution of media planning for campaign launches including trafficking, asset rollout, and compliance with financial regulations, including ability to deliver operational efficiencies and document best practices in process.
  • Inform budget forecasting and reconciliation, working with finance, agency partners and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on spend.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and build relationships with performance media, loyalty team and bank partners to inform short and long term media planning decisions.
  • Analyze data to inform strategic media adjustments and recommendations by channel, with a focus on upper funnel.
  • Communicate frequently and collaborate effectively across workgroups to inform media approach recommendations.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills

Required

  • 4 years of experience in executing paid media programs either in-house or at a media agency.
  • Bachelor's degree or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree
  • Experience leading media strategies across paid social, search, display, video/linear TV, OTT/CTV, and OOH.
  • Understanding of attribution models and cross-channel brand lift studies.
  • Strong analytical background and budget management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex media challenges and communicate them to non-media audiences across the organization.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon employees.
