POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly creative Social Media Manager to join our hybrid team in Seattle, WA.
In this role, you will own Buddha Jewelry's social media strategy and execution-from developing platform-specific content and building engaged communities to analyzing performance and identifying opportunities for growth. You'll oversee our current channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest, while developing long-term strategies for YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
This role requires a balance of strategy, creativity, and execution. You'll create compelling content, collaborate across departments, engage with our community seven days a week, and continuously evolve our social presence to strengthen brand awareness, deepen customer relationships, and support business growth.
MUST HAVES
  • 5+ years of professional social media marketing experience
  • Proven experience growing consumer-facing social media accounts
  • Strong photography, videography, and content creation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 2 weeks per month for trade shows, events, content creation, and client visits.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Social Strategy

Community & Brand Growth
  • Manage and grow our online communities
  • Engage authentically through comments, DMs, mentions, and conversations

Campaign Leadership
  • Lead social strategy for product launches, events, campaigns, partnerships, and brand initiatives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Own and manage all brand social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, while building strategies for YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
  • Create, capture, edit, and publish high-quality photo, video, and written content tailored to each platform.
  • Plan and manage a strategic content calendar supporting launches, campaigns, events, and brand initiatives.
  • Serve as the daily voice of Buddha Jewelry by actively engaging with our community through comments, direct messages, mentions, reviews, and conversations across all social platforms, including weekends.
  • Monitor trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to identify opportunities for timely and relevant content.
  • Analyze channel performance, audience insights, and campaign results, providing recommendations to improve growth and engagement.
  • Manage influencer, creator, and client collaborations from outreach through campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Support paid social initiatives through strategic organic content and performance insights.
  • Maintain a consistent and elevated brand voice across all platforms.
  • Model company values in every interaction, communication, and decision.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • 5+ years of social media marketing experience, preferably in luxury, jewelry, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing social media strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging social platforms.
  • Excellent photography, videography, and short-form video editing skills.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar creative tools.
  • Experience using social media management and analytics platforms such as Sprout Social, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to balance creative thinking with data-driven decision making.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback, adapting quickly, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 2 weeks per month for trade shows, events, content creation, and client visits.
  • Flexible schedule averaging 40-45 hours per week, with availability to support social media engagement during evenings, weekends, holidays, and key business events as needed.
  • Passing a background check is required.
