Job description

Bluewater is the expert in direct-to-consumer marketing, bringing all aspects of research, creative, production, digital commerce, and offline and online media together under one roof. Our TV Media Buying team is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Programmatic (OTT/CTV) media buyer to be part of our media buying team.

This is an intermediate-level position that offers an exciting opportunity to hone your media buying expertise and apply it to multi-million-dollar Television media campaigns for multiple clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Media Planning & Buying: Plan, execute, manage, and optimize OTT/CTV both directly and programmatically.
  • Discuss/present plans/media strategies to new and existing clients.
  • Coordinate launches of media campaigns/tests with operations, media and account management to insure flawless execution.
  • Identify, create, and recommend new media opportunities on an ongoing basis.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with OTT/CTV providers: Collaborate with OTT/CTV providers and DSPs to access premium inventory, negotiate favorable rates, and explore new targeting capabilities, ensuring our clients receive the best possible media placements.
  • Drive campaign performance: Utilize expertise in advanced TV advertising to optimize campaign performance. Leverage data-driven insights to analyze key ROI and performance metrics. Make data-based decisions.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance daily
  • Negotiate pricing to benefit Bluewater clients.
  • Provide reports, analysis and media insight to internal teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with creative teams, account managers, and data analysts to align programmatic strategies with overall campaign goals. Provide valuable insights and recommendations in writing and verbally to enhance campaign performance and client satisfaction, which may include overall strategy as it relates to other media channels, media plans, quarterly reviews, test proposals, and optimizations to offer/creative/ landing pages.

Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years of experience with programmatic media-buying
  • Proactive: continuously seeks new opportunities
  • Strong and fast with numbers
  • Strong negotiation skills and analytical mindset
  • Understanding of marketing and sales funnel KPIs
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong project management skills
  • Strong communicator, verbally and orally
  • Able to independently operate and prioritize within a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at Excel and a generally fast learner when it comes to software
  • “Can do” attitude and enjoys being a team player
