Core4ce is seeking a motivated and creative Media Intern to join our Communications and Marketing team. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting a fast-paced organization focused on national security and defense missions. As a Media Intern, you will work alongside experienced communications professionals to create engaging content, support digital marketing initiatives, and help tell the story of Core4ce's impact across the federal sector. This role provides valuable exposure to media relations, content creation, social media strategy, branding, and multimedia production while offering mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating, editing, and publishing content for digital and social media platforms
  • Support the development of written materials including articles, newsletters, press releases, and marketing communications
  • Create and edit graphics, photos, videos, and other multimedia content
  • Help maintain and update Core4ce's digital presence while ensuring brand consistency
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and topics relevant to defense, technology, and national security
  • Monitor media coverage and social media engagement and assist with reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate complex concepts into engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Support internal and external communications campaigns and special projects
  • Assist with photography, video production, and media asset management
  • Help organize and maintain content libraries, marketing materials, and digital assets
  • Perform other communications and marketing-related duties as assigned

Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Experience creating content for social media, blogs, newsletters, or websites
