You must have a proven track record of program management of enterprise-wide media processing projects, including triage & prioritization, cross-functional interdependencies, alignment, and implementation. The primary focus is the orchestration of engineering and program leadership for the development of a unified content management and media processing platform.

This role will integrate program management best practices with prioritized decision making of MCE engineering stakeholders and drive execution of impactful initiatives that will unlock platform capabilities in support of our diverse content catalog, and enable content quality enhancements that will allow optimal experiences for our consumers. In addition, this represents an exciting opportunity to be a senior member of a newly formed team of technically-focused, enterprise-level program managers, with a focus of enablement and execution, as we continue our technology transformation for key lines of business as well as the potential to scale for 100% coverage of roadmap initiatives.

Establish partnerships across technical leads and key stakeholders across engineering, quality, and content teams to provide connective end-to-end flow perspectives in key deliverables for our flagship Sirius XM product.

Coordinate a program to drive a roadmap of foundational platform changes, including AWS and on-premise subsystems, to support live and on-air workflows, replay management, licensing and rights management, content entitlements, data reporting accuracies, and general content-specific reporting needs.

Lead cross-functional communications, inclusive of change management and initiative status reporting.

Frame tradeoffs, options, and risks clearly to help teams and leaders make informed decisions quickly.

Provide escalation paths, as appropriate, to identify risks, improve execution, and remove barriers to execution.

Lead preparations and ceremonies with engineering and product for cross-domain program reviews relating to Media Content initiatives.

Collaborate with the Product Operations team in launch operations execution, planning/process standardization, and communications/learnings.

Drive a culture of innovation and be an agent of change.

Cultivate a culture that rewards aggressive pursuit of innovative solutions to problems.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Deep experience in leading large-scale technology initiatives within tight deadlines and complex interdependencies.

Strong architecture literacy.

Minimum 5 years of experience in managing engineering programs across multiple cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Minimum 8 years of managing large-scale programs across broadcast and media infrastructure teams, cloud and on-premise operations, content acquisition and distribution, playback flows for live, near-live, and VOD media, and consumer-facing apps.

Minimum 5 years of senior program management experience, with experience in executive leadership alignment and communication.
