What We're Looking For:

Strong communicator with a collaborative approach to patient care

Ability to perform across multiple radiologic modalities with efficiency and attention to detail

1-2 years of radiographer experience preferred

Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent required

Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred

Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Holds a valid Louisiana state license as a Radiologic Technologist

Knowledge of PACS, safety protocols, contrast media administration, and aseptic technique

Demonstrated compliance with HIPAA, radiation safety, and infection control standards

What You Will Do:

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using advanced imaging techniques and deliver compassionate, high-quality care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, effective communication, and consistent clinical excellence.

Deliver radiologic services, including exam preparation, execution, and post-procedure documentation

Provide technical support across imaging modalities covered by licensure

Maintain proficiency in PACS and radiology computer systems

Perform all radiologic procedures in accordance with BRGMC standards and safety guidelines

Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure

Demonstrate expertise in radiographic techniques and serve as a technical resource

Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol and licensure scope

Evaluate images for diagnostic clarity and complete electronic records documentation

Monitor patient safety, obtain informed consent, and uphold privacy practices under HIPAA

Maintain equipment, supplies, and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS, FDA, etc.)

Support and mentor radiologic technology students in clinical skills and exam procedures

Respond to patient needs with empathy and effective communication

Complete ongoing education, licensure renewals, and departmental readiness
