Job Title: Commercial Locksmith and Doors Technician
Reports To: Office Manager or Franchise Owner
Key Areas of Responsibility:
The Locksmith and Doors Technician position is a very skilled technical hands-on position in the field. It is a very important position for the growth of the company. The technician drives company vans to commercial client sites like schools, churches, manufacturing to diagnose problems and service locks, doors, door hardware, keys. They are constantly learning new technology solutions in the security industry and help clients be secure every day. We are seeking candidates who want to use and enhance their technical skills, continue to be part of a great working culture, learn and grow their careers and build a local community that is very secure. We have several business and community awards recognizing our work for 7+ years. Willing to consider out of state experienced commercial locksmiths willing to relocate within the service area in Georgia
The responsibilities of a FlyLock Security Solutions Locksmith consist of the following:
  • Diagnose and provide solutions for customer security needs.
  • Install, service, maintain, repair, replace doors, frames, locks, keys, door hardware, door closers, panic devices, smart locks and more for commercial buildings.
  • Install/repin/rekey/master key high security locks like Medeco, Assa Abloy, Primus etc
  • Use smart phone app and computer software to check in and collect payments from clients.
  • Install, repair, and maintain Access Control Hardware
  • Assist in installing wiring, cameras and access controls hardware

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Minimum of 5+ year's experience in technical hands-on field experience in locksmithing, doors, frames, access control, door hardware, and other skilled trades.
  • Good verbal and communication skills.
  • Great problem solver and fast learner
  • Provide a high level of timely & accurate customer service

Physical /Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write English.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs-100 lbs.
  • Able to drive company vehicles
  • Ability to do all physical activity and skills needed for the job.
  • Pass background, driver license, drug and reference screens
