Job description

Genesis10 is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) for a full-time position with our client.
Compensation
: $25.46/hr plus $1/hr night differential
Must be flexible with shift options
The Mechatronics and Robotics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery, robotic systems, and related electrical and mechanical equipment. This role supports the reliable operation of manufacturing and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all automated conveyor systems in the building.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and robotic systems.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting PLC.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with PLC programming.
  • Experience with industrial robots and automation systems.
  • Basic computer and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
