Job description

Our client is seeking a Robotics Mechatronics Engineer to support the development, inclduing design, design modifications, and testing of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems from both a software and electro-mechanical perspective. This role is ideal for a hands-on mechatronics or robotics engineer with experience supporting AMR development, robotic system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and prototype improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with robotics or AMR systems and a strong understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies, motors, sensors, schematics, and robotic software integration. Experience with ROS1/ROS2, Python/C++, SolidWorks, and wireless connectivity is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, testing, and validation of AMR systems and robotic platforms
  • Assist with electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and system integration activities
  • Work with motors, sensors, wiring, schematics, and mechanical assemblies to improve robotic system functionality
  • Utilize SolidWorks to support mechanical design modifications and prototype improvements
  • Perform testing, debugging, and performance validation of robotic systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve AMR functionality, reliability, and performance

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Must Possess at least 2-3+ years real world work history experience in the area of robotics or AMR development experience
  • Python and/or C++ programming experience
  • Knowledge of ROS1/ROS2 required
  • Exposure to motors, sensors, schematics, and robotic system integration preferred
  • SolidWorks experience preferred
