About the Role

Voltage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and detail mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software. You'll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, improving design efficiency, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure high-quality, compliant engineering solutions

What You'll Do
  • Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
  • Review specifications, sketches, and engineering concepts to determine design feasibility and requirements.
  • Update and revise designs to correct issues or incorporate improvements.
  • Perform mechanical calculations and basic analyses to validate designs and ensure performance.
  • Support prototype creation, testing, and verification to confirm manufacturability and functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate materials, tolerances, and mechanical performance.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and improve processes.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and assembly requirements.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and installation.
